Last night, the JV Lady Mavs made the cold bus ride to Anderson for their final game of NCC competition and walked away as outright champions defeated the Lady Indians 38-31. This game was back and forth and resulted in the Lady Mavs playing from behind in the 4th quarter before two huge shots by Sophomore Ellah Anderson. Another solid performance by the jv team, showing grit, toughness, and the ability to keep fighting till the end. Freshman Ameria Gibson did exactly what she's done all season with causing chaos for the opposing team and getting steals and layups. For the last time ever for us to be involved in the NCC, the JV Lady Mavs will finish with an undefeated season 8-0. This win also continues their undefeated season with two games left in the season. Up next for the JV will be at West Lafayette on Tuesday night with a 6pm tip.
