The Mavs ended their 2026 season with a 2-1 loss Monday night in the sectional championship. Harrison scored two runs in the top of the fifth to break a scoreless tie. The Mavs responded in the bottom of the sixth with a run, loading the bases with no outs, but could not push across any more runs. Senior right-hander Jake Winger was outstanding, throwing seven innings while allowing six hits, striking out nine, and walking just one. Senior Zayne Newgent led the offense with three hits. The Mavs finished the year with a 17-10 record.
