Congratulations to our American Family Adsit Agency Student-Athletes of the Week: Vanessa Carrico & Connor Felty! Vanessa, a junior jumper for the Lady Mavs Track & Field team was a point-earning machine for McCutcheon which won last week's Tipton Invite! Ms. Carrico pulled in 2nd place finishes in the Long Jump (14'10") and High Jump (4'7") events along with a 1st place finish in the 4 x 100M (52.61). In total, Vanessa has placed 1st - 3rd in the High Jump and Long Jump (16'1" PR) in every meet. Ms. Carrico is a year-round student-athlete who also competes in Cross-Country and Cheer for the Mavs! Vanessa is also a point-scoring machine in the classroom, where the junior carries a lofty 3.79 cumulative GPA. Great job on the track and in the classroom, Vanessa! Connor, a junior middle-distance runner on the Boys' Track and Field team also had a stellar outing at last Friday's Tipton Invite. Mr. Felty earned blue ribbons in the 4 x 800M Relay and the open 800M race! Connor also ran the 3rd leg of the 4 x 400M relay that took 2nd place. Connor's contributions helped spur the Mavs to the team Championship and a sweep of the invite! Connor is also pretty quick in the classroom where the junior carries a commendable 3.33 cumulative GPA! Great work on the track and in the classroom, Connor!
