The Mavs (15-2) suffered their second defeat of the season Saturday as Greenfield Central claimed a 11-4 victory. A three run first inning, highlighted by RBI singles by Logan Marsell and Sammy Swank, gave the Mavs an early lead. After Greenfield Central scored two runs in the bottom of the first, the Cougars went ahead for good after plating five runs in the bottom of the second. Marsell finished with two hits and also reached on a walk. Jake Winger and Riley Sands added doubles. The Mavs travel to Avon on Monday for a 6:00 pm first pitch.
