The Mavs (2-4) scored a single run in the top of the first but could not prevent the big inning as Harrison claimed victory Tuesday night in West Lafayette. Aiden Riser and Jake Winger lead off the game with singles before Jonathan Riley was hit by a pitch to load the bases with no outs. Rhett Clarkson drove a single to center to bring home Riser but the Mavs could not push any more runs across. Riser led the Mavs with two hits. The Mavs return to action Wednesday with they host Harrison at 5:30 pm.
