The Mavs (4-7) scored first but could not prevent the big inning and fell to Danville Friday night at the Mav Baseball Complex. After Danville pushed across six in the top of the 3rd, the Mavs quickly answered back with singles by Jake Winger and Aiden Riser before Jonathan Riley drove in both with a triple to right field to make it 6-3. Mekyel Almond followed with a RBI groundout to make it 6-4. Riley finished with three hits including a double and triple to go along with two RBI and two runs scored. Winger had two hits and scored two runs. The Mavs have a quick turnaround as they travel to Russiaville to take on Western on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
