The Mavs offense collected five extra base hits and scored eight runs but could not keep pace with Avon on Monday night at the Mav Baseball Complex. Jonathan Riley finished with a double and his fourth home run of the year. Jackson Lancaster also had two hits including a double. Jake Winger connected on his fourth home run of the year while Brennan Johnson added a double. The Mavs (8-10) continue a busy week on Tuesday as they travel to Benton Central for a 6:00 pm first pitch.
